Planning and Zoning Commission
The Planning and Zoning Commission consists of seven members appointed by the Divide County Board of Commissioners. Their duties of the commission include:
- Establish and administer rules and procedures for conducting the zoning affairs of Divide County
- Establish requirements and procedures necessary for submission of applications.
- Establish fee schedules and accounting thereof.
- Publicize and post notice of zoning hearings and amendments as required by law.
- Hold public hearings on applications for all proposed amendments to this Ordinance and make written recommendation to the Board of Commissioners for the approval or denial of such applications.
- Conduct hearings on conditional uses and set conditions for certain uses and make written recommendation to the Board of Commissioners for the approval or denial of such applications.

Job Development Authority
The Divide County Job Development Authority is prepared to help businesses and entrepreneurs with ideas for business ventures in Crosby or Divide County. A number of incentive programs are available, including the Renaissance Zone that provides tax incentives for qualified projects. The Crosby Spirit Fund can provide interest buy down and other assistance, a revolving loan fund to help with financing packages, and staff assistance to help with any questions you might have.
