North Star Human Service Zone, is a regional zone comprised of Burke, Divide, Renville & Williams County's former social service offices, offers a wide array of services.

Child Protection and Family Services

Our social workers and parent aide assist parent / caregiver to make a safer environment for their children.

Financial Help

Our eligibility worker will help you apply for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (formerly know as Food Stamp), Medicaid, Healthy Steps, TANF and Child Care Assistance along with a variety of other programs.

Home and Community Based Services (HCBS)

Our social worker will work with you to figure out which services for elderly and / or disabled would work best on a case by case basis. Some of the services she can assist with are: In Home Care services, Homemaker services and help to get assistive devices.

Civil Rights
